My Story

I am a second generation, mixed race South Asian who grew up in Georgia.

After I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia, I received my Master’s in Social Work at New York University. I have worked in non profit settings, both with adults and teens who were predominantly LGBTQ+ and BIPOC and in creative fields, specifically actors and musicians. I have personal experience with the arts and creativity through my hobbies. Professionally, I see how creativity is the focal point of our work together, and how incorporating the nuances of art and freedom of expression into therapy is beneficial. â€‹

Creating a space for exploration and understanding with no expectations of who you are supposed to be is the root of my work.

I am a licensed master of social work in New York state and practice in lower Manhattan. I practice under the supervision of Dulcinea Pitagora, PhD, LCSW.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I would love to get to know more about you.
